Ordinal Numbers

To form ordinal numbers from 21 to 999 in English, we just change the last word. For example, twenty-one becomes twenty-first.

a. in 1:

21st - twenty-first

31st - thirty- first

b. in 2:

32nd - thirty- second

42nd - forty - second

c. in 3:

43rd - forty -third

53rd - fifty-third

d. in 4 to 9 :

44th - forty-fourth

57th - fifty-seventh

Pay attention to this :

100th - one hundreth

300th- three hundreth
